solid steel cutterblock with 2 separated cutters
410mm long standard cutters and 100mm long carbide cutters,
usable on both sides. Carbide cutters offer a 9-fold edge life
time when planing plywod and 7 to 8-fold edge life time when
planing coated chipboards.
If the rear section of the cutter block
is fitted with 100mm long carbide cutters, then edges of laminated
boards can also be appended without any tearouts.It is still possible
to normally plane and joint in the front section of the cutter block
(410mm). If you should require the full planing width, then the
cutters can be changed within seconds thanks to the TERSA system.
It goes without saying that other cutter lengths and qualities can
also be combined. |
