	Thanks to the large tilting range of 2 x 45.5° and the patented indication of the compensation value for the fence when working with the tilted arbor, a new range of working possibilities is opened. Work pieces can always be worked from below with the spindle tilted to the rear – a big step towards greater flexibility and safer operation. Cutting height and tilting angle can be comfortably adjusted according to electronic displays. Height and tilting angle of the tool can be adjusted in seconds by a “rapid“ and a “creep“ push button adjustment. The absolute and incremental height, as well as the tilting angle are indicated.

Fence Compensation Value
Due to the four-line standard display indicating the compensation value for the fence, settings with tilted spindle can be done according to your drawings. Set-ups with tilted spindle are not a game of trial and error anymore. The clever splitting of the diagonal spindle movement into a vertical and a horizontal movement makes this possible.

"Compensation Value"
During height adjustments of the tilted spindle the tool always moves vertically as well as horizontally due to the inclined movement.
Thanks to the patented split of the tilted spindle movement into a vertical (height) and a horizontal (fences correction) dimension, quick and accurate adjustments can be done with tilted spindle.

The cutting depth can be adjusted quickly and easily according to a digital counter. The complete fence is adjusted quickly by hand wheel and the infeed jaw can be set separately by a big star grip according to a digital counter.

If required, the fence can be additionally equipped with powerful electronics which allow the direct adjustment of the cutting depth in reference with the programmed diameter of the tool. This special equipment reduces the set-up noticeably.

For ring fence work, the fence can be dismantled in an instant and remounted quickly after the job. The optional swinging support does not have to be lifted from the table but can be swung to the rear, reducing thus expensive set-up time.

To accelerate the changing of arbors and tools, the DORNFIX system, a quick arbor changing system developed by Martin, comes with the basic machine. The changing from a 30 to 40mm arbor can be done within seconds. So you have the possibility to use complete tool-arbor-combinations.
