Automatic Soft Start
The automatic soft start is activated by pressing the safety double key, as well as the wear free brake are of course standard features. The rotation direction of the spindle is clear to see and can be reversed easily, the plug for the connection of the feed unit can be switched on and off at the control unit and comes with the basic model. The depth of cut is exactly and easily adjusted according to the digital counter. A hand wheel quickly sets the position of the whole fence and the infeed jaw can be adjusted separately by a big star knob according to the digital counter. If required, the fence can be additionally equipped with powerful electronics allowing the direct adjustment of the cutting depth in reference with the programmed diameter of the tool. This special equipment reduces the set-up time noticeably.

Ring Fence
For ring fence work, the fence can be removed in an instant and remounted quickly after the job. With the optional swinging support the fence does not have to be lifted from the table but can be swung easily to the back of the shaper when working and thus reduces expensive set-up time.

Mortising: sliding table
When mortising, the sliding table is the ideal special accessory for the Martin-shaper. The heavy and solid design of the sliding table, the possibility to swing it 45° (fence up to 65°) in both directions and many features more make this option a unique accessory. It ensures accurate results and save working when machining cross-sections of wood.

DORNFIX Arbor Changing System
The DORNFIX system, an arbor changing system developed by Martin, comes with the T20 machine and allows the quick changing of the arbor. Thus the changing e.g. from a 30mm to a 40mm arbor can be done within seconds. Furthermore you have the possibility to use complete tool-arbor-combinations, which is another time saving advantage.
